At Our Founding Farmers, Hawi’s handmade ice cream shop, we are passionate about hand crafting our small batch ice cream flavors using only the freshest locally-sourced fruits and produce from local farms.
Our story began in North Kohala, where our founder, Mark Smith, fell in love with the abundance of fresh produce available in the area and decided to try making ice cream using these ingredients. The results were too mouth-watering to keep to himself!
We are committed to using only the finest ingredients in our handmade ice cream sourced from local farms, supporting the local economy and providing the Big Island's most delicious ice cream.
